I hope you are doing well. In case you forgot, my name is Phillip Nguyen and I was in your BPM class 2 semesters ago (Fall 2017).
I wanted to reach out and thank you for providing me a great foundation in BPM because it became very useful during my internship this past summer.
I had the opportunity to intern with Deloitte in their Cyber Risk practice. I used BPM to help improve processes in large-scale security implementation and my team was very impressed! The process improvement project with Zaxby’s that we completed that semester really enhanced my learning of BPM and provided me with great hands-on experience. I’m happy to say I’ll be joining Deloitte full-time as a Cyber Risk Consultant in Fall 2019 after graduating in May.
Thank you once again and I hope you’re having a great start to your semester. Don’t forget to stress to your students how important and fundamental your class is.
