It is my great pleasure to have attended Professor Chatterjee's class during my MBA program at University of North Carolina at Kenan Flagler Business School in 2015. I have learned tremendously from Professor Chatterjee, not only the knowledge he has taught from the class, but more importantly, I was inspired by the life example he has given.
We have kept in touch since my MBA. We met again 2 years ago in Atlanta where I went for a business trip. From the outside,I had a glamorous life - great career, traveling around the country for business, a family with two beautiful kids. But internally I was at the bottom - job was exhausting, family relationship had fallen apart. I was never home due to business travel. When we were having dinner, Prof. Chatterjee learned about my challenge in life overall, he not only encouraged me to pursue my passion in career, he told me about how he was dedicated to his family, children, and ultimately a great career in the academic world. His words greatly encouraged me to keep fighting and turn my ship around. His ability to mentor the younger generation is unmatched. 2 years later, I am proud to say that I am in a much better position in life overall. I am feeling very grateful for the support and words of wisdom that Prof. Chatterjee has given and the true life example he has provided for me and undoubtedly for a lot of people.
